This python wasn’t as lucky as Soul who just needed to be relocated.

Coming out from the bushes and onto the road, the python got run over and was safely pulled to the side by two kind and brave motorists.

Unfortunately, it was too late. 10 minutes after the call came through, the ACRES Wildlife Rescue Team found the limp python barely breathing and covered with ants. A swelling around a quarter of her length from the head might be an indicator of internal bleeding, where a snake’s vital organs are.

Due to the nature of the circumstances, the rescue team has laid the python deeper in the quiet bushes for his final breath.
