“Now you see me, now you don’t!”

A Banded bull frog could possibly be a victim of mistaken identity.

The ACRES rescue team was called to scene for a python in the garden, hiding in a hole with his head just visible.

As the team scattered leaves and probed for holes (a head) where the occupants pointed to, a plump, triangular body appeared among the fallen leaves. At this point, we’re not quite sure who was more stunned- the officers, or the frog!

While no snakes were found in the premises, the team advised the occupants on how to identify common snakes and what to do when they see them.
