They have named me Sugarpure because I am the sweetest old lady. But I’m also the saddest. I’m about 11 years old and was found all alone, miles from civilisation. A serious eye injury and tooth decay meant I was in terrible pain. Please donate at https://bit.ly/Saving_Sugarpure to help homeless dogs like me!

I arrived at the Soi Dog shelter after the people here received a call from the man who’d found me. I’d been dumped in a lonely rubber plantation and left for dead. Animals like me will never understand why humans can do such things. I was so scared and confused and I’m still not sure what’s going on or who to trust. I’m getting old now and it’s tiring.

The vets here say I have a ruptured cornea, most likely caused by blunt force trauma. I will need surgery on my eye and mouth but first, they need to make me stronger. Thanks to the support of people like you, they’ve started me on medication for the pain and regular nourishing meals because they said I was emaciated. I now have a safe place to lay my head at night, but as you read this, so many others are not so lucky.

Please join the Emergency Response Team to help sick and injured animals like me. The homeless animals of Thailand receive no government funding and have no hope without people like you. Your small monthly gift will mean more of us being picked up, taken to safety, and started on the medical treatment we desperately need. It will mean more of us being given the chance we deserve.

Please act now. Go to https://bit.ly/Saving_Sugarpure to give what you can. Because there truly is nobody else we can ask. Thank you.
