Last Night At Around 8.30pm, A Car Stopped By The ..

Last night at around 8.30pm,a car stopped by the main road of our property and dumped a mummy and 2 of her kittens out of the car. We had to collect them from the road. They were then safely placed in a cage infront of our stray transition room.

This morning, when we arrived, all 3 went missing but a black cat was in the cage. Someone had come to place the black cat in the cage and released the mummy and kittens to do so.

After looking around,we found mummy and 1 kitten by the road and her other kitten is nowhere to be seen.

These animals do not deserve to be treated like trash and we have our hands full at the shelter because of irresponsible owners. They have collars on them hence they were owned and then discarded.

Both adult cats have fluffy tails. Please get in touch with us if you would like to give them a home.

The Langkawi Animal Shelter and Sanctuary Foundation is set-up to receive, rehabilitate and care for neglected, abused and needy animals. The organization also runs the Langkawi Island Animal Clinic - a charity project aimed at the sterilization of the stray cat & dog population. Both are non profit ventures, staffed partly by volunteers and aimed at improving the lives of unwanted animals.
