“At least they dumped it at SPCA.”

We’ve heard these comments — and we need to say this clearly:

Trespassing and abandoning animals after hours is not rescue.

It’s dangerous for the animal, illegal under the Animal Welfare Act, and puts more strain on shelters already working at capacity.

We don’t “deserve” to be dumped on — we deserve respect, just like the animals do.

Helping animals isn’t just about emotion — it’s about responsibility.

Work with us, not against us.
