We are exhausted and sad. Direct transfers to vendors pun susah to meet target. Directly to us also susah to meet target. So, we are going to give the option of direct transfers as well as transfers to us to meet our monthly commitments. It takes RM181.90 x 400 doggos monthly— to feed them, shelter them, treat them, and give them the life they deserve. This month we have added expenses as we have two seriously ill dogs (Garang and Klang) at Gasing Vet. We have also run out of rice and need to replenish immediately.

Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better is a canine welfare programme initiated by non-profit organisation Community Development and Integration Initiative (CDII).

MDDB's main activities revolve around rescuing dogs from the local council pounds as well as off the streets. Once they have been rescued, the dogs are vaccinated and neutered before being put up for adoption.
