Protecting the Malayan tiger is urgent and essential. With fewer than 150 individuals left in the wild, the Malayan tiger is critically endangered and faces the real risk of extinction.

As Malaysia’s national symbol, emblazoned on our coat of arms and currency, the tiger is not just a majestic animal but also a key part of our cultural identity and natural heritage.

This species is found only in Peninsular Malaysia, giving us a unique global responsibility to ensure its survival. Allowing it to disappear would mean losing an irreplaceable part of our country’s identity and biodiversity.
