Yes, it does seem like a war sometimes with the myths and ignorance around spay/neuter that continue to rise. But when I hear that the euthanasia rate in the UK for shelters is somewhere in the 10% range which is pretty low (it's a horror to imagine what Malaysia's rate is) it's definite that improvements can be made. It just is one battle at a time to get there. Cheers and we'll continue to fight on!

vani   Dec 15th 2010 at 2:29PM Hey ya..was just wondering.. 2 of the dogs I adopted were from an abusive owner and i of them is currently undergoing accupuncture treatment under Dr.Susannah (I am the 1 who commented on that retriever-Heavenne)... So I just heard recently that this same guy is now selling toy poodle pup at Malaysian toy poodle club in facebook..is there anything we can do? Any suggestions?

Damar   Oct 18th 2011 at 10:05AM John C--There are puppy farms, pet shops, vets and people who are out to make money out of these poor animals, masquerade as animal rescuer. They list the animal adoption as free and when prospective adopter become entrapped they start to load up the fee. The fee can be more than that at the pet shops. They can do the vacination on these animal.Some will include neuter. Many of these people know how to neuter animal and they do it without anestheasia. I came across these myself. As an animal lover myself I think its wrong.
