Milo has chronic flu. It is uncertain if he will shed the virus intermittently or his entire lifetime. He is looking for a home where he has siblings that also have chronic flu. His adoption is available on Junly 1st, 2021 so that I can try to treat his chronic respiratory issues.
Milo was about a month old when he was rescued. He had thick green mucous from his eyes and nose, mange and alopecia around the hind legs, a little scruffy in the ears, a tail shaped like a lightning bolt. The mange was resolved within 3 weeks, and the coughing and sneezing subsided. Unfortunately, the sneezing came back within 24 hours after his first vaccination.
Putting his medical condition aside, Milo is incredibly playful, energetic, and mischievous. Most of the time, I treat Milo like a puppy instead of a kitten because he does the following things pre-quarantine:
// He jumps from behind and grabs hold of my head as if he is a monkey.
// He sleeps on my head or near my leg. Sometimes I wake up at night because he plops himself on the side of my body
// He nuzzles my ears if he wants me to wake up.
// He heads bunt me until my spectacle is displaced from my ears
// He carries his toy everywhere until he finds the right spot.
// He plays peekaboo with the other kittens
// He plays fetch (without knowing it) and return the toy to the cushion.
// He can open Tupperware with no locking mechanism. He can also push the Tupperware to the floor to access dry food
Milo is an incredibly loving creature, and he will love you if you open your heart to him. Although certain color or markings appeal to people, Milo’s feature is still striking because of the white markings around his eyes. I would actually like to keep him because he is my first rescue that behaves like a puppy. However, his flu is contagious to other cats and there is no end of pregnant mother cats and neonatal kittens that comes to me for help.
If you are interested in adopting Daisy, please contact me and introduce your home, work/studies, and experience with pets. This will be followed by a video call interview, adoption contract, and pet delivery (within 45km from KL city center).
