SPCA SEBERANG PERAI will be holding our Pet Adoption Day at Autocity (in front of Shop-In D'Park) on 4th April 2015 from 7pm to 10pm.
Come adopt one of our furkid and you will never regret you ever did. Remember, you are not just giving the furkid a better life, you are giving yourself one, too!
And for those who wish to drop in any donation items (rice, eggs, fresh milk or kibbles) may do so at our booth on that night.

This is the dog at Bukit Dumbar Badminton Arena, spotted with a big maggot wound on his back.
We located the dog last Saturday and though he is not approachable and does not allowed to be touched, we managed to sprinkle some medication powder on him.

Found barely alive on a roadside, Mila was rescued just in time. Weighing only 3.6kg, she was emaciated, blind in 1 eye and suffering from fungal infection of the skin. Her face, neck and back were covered with sores. She also has a slightly crooked jaw and several missing teeth. Her back was hunched with front legs bent outwards - this posture is typically seen in dogs that have been confined in tiny cages their entire lives. We wrap-up last evening's adoption drive with 8 puppies being adopted.

Our shelter is currently overloaded with plenty of puppies and dogs. We hope that more people will come forward to help adopt them. This is the German Shepherd that we rescued from the streets of Chai Leng Park few days ago.
As no one had came forward for her, we suspect she may be one of the victims of backyard breeders. It was pretty obvious she had given birth many times due to her sagging niples.
With great hope that she will be well loved and taken cared off during her golden years, we decided to put her up for adoption. Only serious adopter(s) who is willing to spay her will be cons...

UPDATES AS AT 15 MARCH 2015:
21 dogs from the factory site has been transported to our shelter today. The remainings will come in on the 2nd batch. It was definitely a challenging task to unload these dogs and trying to get them settled in. Once their condition have stabilize, the females will be sent for spaying.
Fund-raising for this project is still on-going. If you wish to help us in funding these dogs, kindly donate to the account details stated below.

Factory Dogs Evacuation Project

SPCA Seberang Perai has received a call few days ago appealing for help to rescue 30 over dogs currently at high risk.
Apparently the dogs were reared in an abandoned factory by a guard, with a soft heart for animals. It started with just a couple of dogs to keep watch the old factory but as time passed, he began to take in more especially when he stumbled upon some pitiful strays on the streets.
