Happy Tales Maju. I Am Maju And I Love Meeting New.. 31st Aug 2022, by SPCA Singapore
HAPPY TALES: MAJU
I am Maju and I love meeting new friends! But I wasn’t always so brave, I used to be quite timid and unsure of everything. Hooman first met me two years ago at #SPCASingapore. Even though he wasn’t sure what type of bork he wanted, my sweet charming yet shy self made him fall hook, line, and sinker right there!
With our own routine and schedule, I learnt how to be comfortable and confident! My favourite activity now is sprinting around the dog park with other dogs, and hoo...

National Mutt Day. In Singapore We Call Them Our S.. 31st Jul 2022, by SPCA Singapore
NATIONAL MUTT DAY
In Singapore we call them our Singapore Specials (because they are truly special beings that deserve our pride!), and National Mutt Day is a day to celebrate our loveliest mixed-breed dogs! They’re the dogs that often get overlooked but trust us when we say they have so much love to give!
🐶 Singapaw Specials (SS) have no common/specific breeds, as they are bred by natural-selection without human intervention. This makes them less likely to acquire breed-specific disease...

Meorro? I AM KOBE! I like to play even if I don’t really know how to! (」°ロ°)」The #SPCASingapore hoomans first rescued me from Seletar, where I was found dragging my hind limbs around. They ran some checks on me, and I was found with spinal and hind legs fracture. I am a suspected victim of falling from height.
But I didn't give up! Even though the nerves at my hind legs are damaged, I still try my best to walk by “kn...

Happy Tales Brooklyn. Herru My Name Is Brooklyn An.. 27th Jul 2022, by SPCA Singapore
HAPPY TALES: BROOKLYN
HERRU my name is Brooklyn and I am a Covid baby! My mum would always tell me that Covid gave her a chance to bring me home, I am her blessing during that tough period. *proud*
Although the hoomans at #SPCASingapore thought I was big, fluffy, and tough, I was actually really apprehensive when I first went home. Being in a new environment scared me, but my furever hoomans loved me by giving me all the time I needed to adjust. Since then, I’ve taken on the role as the fam...

THANK YOU ADOPTERS, VOLUNTEERS, AND STAFF 💙
We know that making appointments at the SPCA can be challenging, and we thank you for understanding that it is what we must do to keep our shelter going and our animals safe.

We are so grateful for the...

WE BANNED DIVIAN NAIR & LEON KLIENMAN FROM ADOPTING?!
Learn how to NOT mesh your house for your cat.
Each week the SPCA's rescue officers and veterinary staff see at least 5 cats falling from height. Half of them die on impact. Understanding the concern #SPCASingapore has with the number of cats falling from height every week, We Are Majulah decided to have a go at meshing their houses for their imaginary cats… and got banned.
Cat guardians, please mesh your houses to save your cats.

FALLING FROM HEIGHT IS ONE OF THE TOP CAUSES OF CAT DEATHS IN 2022
The @straits_times released an article on falling from height as the top cause of workplace death. Workplace safety is indeed a serious matter.
Similarly, each week the SPCA's rescue officers and veterinary staff see 5 cats falling from height. These are just the numbers we see and we believe that there are many more cats who do not survive. Fall from height can lead to tragic outcomes, often including fatality.
It is time fo...
