Adoption Spotlight: Princess. This 2-year-old girl is all sorts of wonderful. We found her limping around Choa Chu Kang with a bad maggot wound in her right hind leg. Her leg bone was exposed and the injury was extensive. We sent her for surgery and unfortunately, the vets had to remove her right hind leg. This strong girl recovered well. Guinea pigs are social creatures and do better with a companion. However, they also breed fast and should be kept in same-gender pairs to avoid unwanted litters. These two babies came to us just last week, found without their mother around the busy Orchard area. Fortunately for us, our great fosterers stepped up to the challenge and we quickly found a loving foster home for these lovely kittens. They'll need plenty of care and will test our fosterer's patience for the next month or so! But it'll all be worth it when they eventually find good, forever homes.
