ILLEGAL SALE OF LEOPARD GECKOS ON CAROUSELL
Acting on a tip-off on the sale of leopard geckos as pets on Carousell, ACRES ACIU (Animal Crime Investigation Unit) investigated the case further. This resulted in a successful joint sting operation, and thanks to the Agri-Food & Veterinary Authority of Singapore (AVA) for their enforcement action and confiscation of the animals.

ILLEGAL SALE OF SOFT-SHELLED TURTLES AS PETS
Based on a tip-off on alleged sale of soft-shelled turtles as pets at a farm in Pasir Ris, ACRES ACIU (Animal Crime Investigation Unit) investigated further, and found about 14 juvenile soft-shelled turtles for sale at $6 each. The information was handed over to the AVA for enforcement action, and the animals were confiscated.
