Burin's previous owner had left Phuket & abandoned all 3 dogs by shutting them in the house to die with no food, water or escape. Luckily we were alerted to this & Burin & her friends Bindy & Barbara were all moved to the shelter. Bindy sadly died recently & Barbara is still looking for a home.
A lovely local Phuket couple fell instantly...

Dod Injured With Boiled Water 24th Sep 2012, by Soi Dog Foundation
We received a call about this dog in Bangkok airport. Locals were trying to kill it and had poured boiling water on it. Bar staff at the Bistro bar in Kamala got it inside as it was running screaming in the main road. Kept it there until our rescue team could pick up. Thank you to the staff of the Bistro bar Kamala and the concerned ex pat who called us. The dog is very gentle and sweet natured. Sadly this is all too common in Kamala.
