UPDATE ON LUCKY
Lucky has tested positive foe e-cajis, which is a type of tick fever. The vet will monitor gir a few days before proceeding with amputation and spay. Doggo also suffering from anemia. The leg round has maggots and the wound infection has resulted in a raise in white cells. Looks Happy is going to have a long stay at the vet. We need help. There are so many independent rescuers with some being clear cut frauds. The irony is that the frauds receive generous donations whenever they put up an 'appeal' but the genuine hardworking ones struggle. A reminder to all shelters and independant rescuers. When you are responding to a rescue alert that has made its rounds on social media - please update that you are doing it. MDDB does it by updating on our Timeline from the time we are on the way or when someone is sending the dog to us - because we do not want others to go and find that the dog is no longer there because it's been rescued by us. Apparently this is in a shelter in Penang and it looks like the dogs are trying to eat one of their pack members they probably killed. A good guess would be that the dogs are hungry. There is no one there to even break-up the fight. That is why random opening of 'shelters' by wannabe rescuers must not be encouraged. You can see the videos at the link.

Sometimes our rowdy dogs are a handful. Today one.of them took a bite at his friend's posterior resulting in a tear and profuse bleeding. Our workers had to literally hold on to the doggo's butt until the transporter arrived to take him to Gasing. He then travelled with a pouch filled with coffee grains all the way from Rawang.
