Roots & Shoots Malaysia held an art exhibition as part of KLEFF 2018 at White Box, Publika from the 26th to the 28th of October 2018. The exhibition, titled Wild HeARTs, featured over 70 pieces of wildlife inspired art by students from Epsom College in Malaysia, Mont'Kiara International School, Garden International School Malaysia, and the Malaysian Homeschool Tribe.

We are still recruiting volunteers for a children's art exhibition titled Wild Hearts. The exhibition, which is part of the 2018 KL Eco Film Fest will feature over 60 pieces of artwork inspired by Malaysian wildlife and created by kids.

Last Friday, we attended the closing/ prize giving ceremony for the 2018 ASiS International Essay Writing Competition. The competition was organised by Sekolah Menengah Sains Alam Shah (Asis) and Roots & Shoots Malaysia was an official partner, together with the Malaysian Primatological Society.
A total of 278 entries were received from 11 countries!

We will be hosting an art exhibition as part of the 2018 Kuala Lumpur Eco Film Fest at White Box, PUBLIKA from the 26th to the 28th of October. The exhibition, titled Wild HeARTS will feature artwork on Malaysian wildlife by students from a few of R&S Malaysia partner schools.
We will be requiring 2 volunteers for each time slot for the three days of the exhibit. Volunteers will help oversee the exhibition and also manage our booth selling merchandise.
