Hi friends, we are still in need of more cat food (kibbles & canned), medication, supplements, and other supplies. We also need more funds; we have used up a quarter of donations received so far in 5 separate aid trips to Pahang, Kelantan and Terengganu in the first 10 days. WALLY NEEDS A FOSTER HOME URGENTLY!
He's loyal. He'll sit down with you, get up when you get up just to make sure you don't get into any danger. When something seems strange he'll let you know. He'll be excited to see you. But people in the past have not been kind to Wally. He needs someone he can trust, and has the patience to earn it. Someone confident to show him that there's nothing to be afraid of. We've managed to set up satellite aid centres at DVS offices in Temerloh (Pahang) and Kubang Kerian (Kelantan). We are urgently looking for contacts in Terengganu to set up an aid centre there, please post here if you know of anyone (authorities, rescuers, etc) on the ground in Terengganu who can help! Thanks!

We loaded up our Big Red Dog van with food and cages donated by members of the public, as well as animal first aid kits (towel, antiseptic & pet soap) and other supplies/ equipment needed for emergency support. Our team consisting of Animal Welfare Officer Kelvin, driver Samy and several volunteers will be in a convoy with rescuer Razeef to Kota Baru (2nd Jan), and then on to Terengganu and Pahang (3rd Jan).

Mission Help-SPCA Flood AID (Animal In Distress) Mission Temerloh

Hi everyone, for the flood aid we need more cat food and less dog food - as the affected areas seem to have mostly cats and few dogs. We need canned cat food as well as the single-serve sachets for quick distribution.
Our next aid run is at 4pm tomorrow, but we will be collecting these items for the next few months for weekly supply to the affected areas.

SPCA SELANGOR FLOOD AID FOR ANIMALS IN DISTRESS
We are working with local rescuers and the Department of Veterinary Services (DVS) to establish 3 satellite aid centres in Kelantan, Terengganu and Pahang to help animals displaced by floods. These centres will support efforts in rescuing, sheltering, treating and rehoming animals over the next 3 months. We are trying to get personnel, volunteers, supplies and equipment to the affected areas in the next few days.

SPCA Animal Welfare Officer Kelvin is on the road with Razeef to deliver aid to animals in Kelantan, they headed towards Temerloh but can only get as far as Kampung Paya Luas, Temerloh. No rain today. Temerloh is one of the worst flooded areas. Private boat owners all using their boats to help transport people and food. We managed to in the Kampung with the help of a jeep owner. Can't go any further as most roads are closed.

Our Winter Mutley Roadshow was held on 20th Dec!
Thanks to Rubini, for running our K9 Good Citizen Test! Congratulations to Bailey and Teddy for getting their silver medal and to Lily for getting her bronze medal.
