What An “Angel”! (updates From Thean Kim Sim)

On 16th July, Kim Sim rescued a cat off the streets. The cat had been attacked by a dog and his stomach skin was ripped open and hind legs swollen (please click on the above link for photos).
Kim Sim named him “Angel” and we helped subsidise his treatment. Angel not only recovered fast but he also got adopted the very next day!

Dogfood For Meiji

Meiji came down to collect another 13 bags of dogfood this afternoon. This sponsorship of RM1430 is partially subsidised by Andy Lew of Avant Pet (RM455) and the rest of the RM975 comes from Kok Khee Wee, Jeanie Tan Lai Fun and Peggy Tiong.
Many thanks to all donors. We have sufficient funds for another batch of 13 bags from our Food Fund. Meiji has been making frequent trips to KL to get her jeep repaired.

Spaying And Vaccination Subsidy For 1 Female Dog (Jane Wee Chui Yong’s)

We have subsidised RM120 for the spaying of Jingle, a street dog, and also RM20 for her vaccination. Jingle was brought in by Jane Wee Chui Yong.

Buri Ram Dogs Found…
In early July Soi Dog personnel visited the Khemmerat and Buri Ram (Buriram) Livestock facilities NE of Bangkok where dogs rescued from dog meat trade smugglers were housed. At Khemmerat the dogs were neither segregated, nor sterilized and due to the lack of segregation breeding was occurring with litters having already been born. DOMINO'S VIDEO... Here's the boy who has a free ticket to Los Angeles this month. We just need someone to fall in love & give Dom his forever home. The video shows Domino hiding under his sala, coming out for cuddles & even getting picked on by another dog. Miu Miu was a little puppy found crying on the road by Joanne Lim on 10th July 2012. At that time, she could not even stand and was dragging the lower half of her body. Joanne brought Miu Miu to the vet and the X-Ray showed that Miu Miu had pelvic fracture. Surgery was not recommended since Miu Miu was so young. If you remember, we had urged Ah Fatt to go to the pound to retrieve the mother-dogs and puppies that had been captured by the local council, but by the time Ah Fatt finally located the pound, he was told there were no mother-dogs and puppies there.
