Nightmare On Pole Street

Right now, my back is full of Pole-scratch marks and I’m in pain.
It’s been a nightmare.
After that mouth-pawing episode, I waited a few hours before offering Pole some food. She could not bring herself to eat so I left her alone.

Pole Eats But…

I decided it would be wiser to let Pole settle down properly and completely after a few traumatic experiences today – the trip to the clinic, our attempt to spray the Biosilver (which failed miserably) and our next attempt to squirt the Biosilver using the syringe (which failed). We also attempted to trim her nails (only managed to trim 2 nails after which she turned violent).

Pole Has Bad Teeth And Gingivitis

Ming-Yi and I took Pole to the vet’s today.
Waiting for our turn.
I already informed the vet that Pole is extremely nervous and “jumpy” so he was prepared.
The only times Pole had ever been to the vet’s was for her kitten vaccinations and spaying. There was also one other time when I mistakenly thought she had urination problem (blocked bladder), so I rushed her to the clinic. Vincent Eats An A+ Lunch!

Today, luckily for me, Ming-Yi came, so she was able to help me with Vincent, Pole and Ginger.
For some unknown reason, Vincent was exceptionally well-behaved today. Together, we managed to drop saline into his nostrils and clean them. He seemed to enjoy it too. We also managed to pill him without much struggle, except for the Azodyl (capsule).

Last night, after finishing all the claims for the day, I finally managed to sit down and mark all my test papers. That done, I put on a pot of chicken soup with the hope that the aroma might encourage Vincent to eat this morning.
Then I offered Pole some food again.
She ate a little bit.
