His name is Damon. He has survived horrendous trauma and is one of the most loving cats at our shelter. Damon has FeLV, a virus specific to cats. All this means is that he needs a home where he is the only cat, or where the other cats are also FeLV positive.
It does not mean a death sentence - cats like Damon can live happy lives and have so much love to give. It is heart-breaking that nobody wants him.

Special Case Cats - Urgent Adoption Required!

These are the cats which have been returned, have socialization problems (shy, not friendly/approachable) and the ones who have been in the shelter for too long (more than 1 year).
They, just like us, take time to adjust to humans and their surrounding. They are no less special than the other cats and dogs and they too deserve to be loved and adopted.
