Indy’s Dental Scaling And Eye Ulcer 16th May 2019, by AnimalCare
We reached the clinic at 11.40am.
Waiting for our turn.
The vet checked Indy and discovered he has an eye ulcer in his right eye. He must have either got into a fight (again!) or he accidentally scratched himself. An eye gel will be prescribed later for this.
Indy was put on drips.
I waited with Indy until 2.10pm when he was taken in for the procedure. Then I came home to get his e-collar and I am now going back to the vet’s to take Indy back.
The procedure should be over by now as...

After Catching And Neutering 147 Cats Under Our Du.. 16th May 2019, by TNRM Malaysia
After catching and neutering 147 cats under our Dutamas Neutering Project at Dutamas here, we are monitoring for any new cats in this area. From time to time , sad to say , we observed dumping cases. Please don’t do that. The success of this project will be jeopardised by this irresponsible act. Un-neutered cats dumped here will start to multiply. On Tuesday, we managed to trap three new cats which have not been neutered. This makes the total number of cats neutered to 150. We need your help t...

Today is Indy’s dental scaling. I’ve been giving him his antibiotics, Metrogyl (as a prophylaxis) since five days ago.
It will be done this afternoon. I hope all goes well.
Among all of them who needed dental scaling (Cow, Bunny, Ginger and Indy), I think Indy’s oral hygiene was the worst of all. Cow only had two a visibly rotten teeth and some tartar (extracted two teeth), Ginger had one rotten teeth and gingivitis (extracted two teeth too) and Bunny had one rotten teeth and a...
