The Day Heidi’s Tunnel Was Defiled….by Ginger(?) 13th Jun 2019, by AnimalCare
Yesterday was a sad day for Heidi.
Someone had sprayed massively on her tunnel.
We think it’s Ginger.
So, for half a day, she had no tunnel to play in. It had to be washed and sunned dry.
Why do we think it’s Ginger, you may ask? Well, because there are only two males in the living room – Ginger and Zurik. Zurik hasn’t been spraying at all. He pees in the bathroom (we have seen this many, many times – he uses the drainhole). Ginger has been caught spraying too many ...

Zurik’s Two Months’ Milestone 13th Jun 2019, by AnimalCare
Today is two months since Zurik was diagnosed with FIP on 13th April 2019.
I was told by a few vets that “two months” is a milestone for FIP patients.
Zurik is eating well, alert and active. He also looks menacing again with his classic KGB-look!
This weekend is Zurik’s check-up.
There…the menacing KGB-eyes that say: “Don’t mess with me.”
We are very thankful for each day that Zurik is as well as he can be!

Sabah In Talks With Indonesia Over Rhino Conservat.. 13th Jun 2019, by WWF Malaysia
Sabah State Tourism, Culture and Environment Minister Datuk Christina Liew met Indonesia’s Kota Kinabalu consul-general head Krishna Djelani to discuss collaborative conservation programmes.
Liew, who is also Deputy Chief Minister, will visit Indonesia next month to pursue the details to find ways to breed their last rhino.
