Indigenous and coastal communities in Sabah’s Tun Mustapha Park rely on the ocean to provide for them, both as a source of food and livelihoods. Mostly fishing communities, their daily catch of fish from the sea or shellfish from reef gleaning activities during low tide are used mainly for their own consumption. Fish is usually preserved by salting and drying under the sun, with the surplus sold to buyers and markets.

Our 🌟Dog of the Week🌟 came in as puppy with a very bad skin condition. He got better and we thought he will be swooped up straight away with that adorable face of his. It's 2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣0️⃣ and sadly Stitch is still here.☹️
Stitch can be a bit shy with new situations but, once he knows you he will be a bundle of joy ready for play and quiet walkies.

Daymon was old, scruffy and blind. He was also suffering from a chronic tick-borne disease, severe anaemia and low blood platelets. The pitiful boy needed love, care and a safe roof over his head. Fortunately, his condition has since drastically improved, but Daymon will need special attention and medication for the rest of his life.
