#SPCASingapore received a call from a worried member of public regarding an injured “cat but not a cat?”. It turned out to be a drenched (from heavy rain) Civet wandering around a Clementi void deck! While the SPCA generally does not handle wildlife, our animal rescue officers provided a helping hand by transporting the Civet to the good people at ACRES: Animal Concerns Research and Education Society (Singapore).

⚠ Graphic Images ⚠ Another phenomenal transformation... This is Pree, who arrived at our shelter in heartbreaking condition. He had a severe skin infection which caused extreme discomfort. Every time he tried to scratch his body, a new bleeding wound would open up... 💔😥 He was also extremely skinny and had no fur left. Pree was just a pile of bones and skin when we first met him.
