Dear all,
When it rains it pours. Remember Scream, the dog that was screaming and rolling around on the roadside? He was treated at Gasing and vaccinated. Today he tested positive for distemper. We are sending him to Wawasan Vet for the distemper jab after which we need to find a place to keep him. To make matters worse a few of our other dogs Vio, Chanel, Jack, Victoria, Petey S, Pacco and Griffin have been exposed to Scream. We now need to give them the jabs as well as put th...

We wish to inform the public, that SPCA had a meeting with the MBPP authorities following the furore on the discovery of a black garbage bag containing deceased cats in the MBPP rubbish bin recently. These cats & kittens were all in our ICU area having just been admitted and died of cat flu.
We have now been provided suitable space for the burial of the deceased cats from SPCA Penang with immediate effect.

Dear all,
Please help us to continue taking good care of our doggos. We are seriously in need of help.
The month is rushing by but we are yet able to raise the sufficient amount required to pay our utility bills, rental and staff salaries. We hope our water and electricity supplies do not get disconnected, our landlord does not boot us out and our workers don't run away. Please help if you are able to. Much much appreciated.

Now that the peoject has been completed and we have no other sites to move her to I sadly have to look for a new home for her because this is a Malay reserved housing estate so many of the residents here dislike dogs around their area. This sweet duo may look alike, but they came to our shelter from different areas and at very different times. Blackblack arrived in 2017 after a road traffic accident, while Deprim arrived in 2022 as an orphaned puppy.
