In Between Emergency Vet Visits With A New Very Po.. 23rd Jan 2022, by TNRM Malaysia
In between emergency vet visits with a new very poorly kitten found the previous week, volunteer, Lisa discovered a probable abandoned pet when she saw a tail sticking out from behind a door to a basement car park in her condomonium in Puchong. Dora obviously knew she needed help and the right human to trust as she was Lisa’s easiest catch yet, wa...

We're getting ready for the upcoming terrapin nesting season!
Every year, female terrapins emerge to nest in January/February. The nesting season is pretty short, with an average of 30.3 days. Green turtles, on the other hand, have been observed to nest for up to 3-4 months in a season.
Our Terrapin Guardians are making the necessary preparations, i.e. clearing some vegetation to make a path to the riverbank. This ensures that our Terrapin Guardians do not slip on their way down to the river i...

Thanks so much to all the donors who have been supporting us. Up till today, the received amount stands at Rm16,790, we still need Rm4,012.89 to cover all the bills. Due to the fact that we have to move our Transit Centre in such a rush, we are bogged down with the transition works, we are so behind on this donation post. Please contribute if you can so we can continue with our cause. Many thanks in advance.

As A Science-Based Organisation With Decades Of Ex.. 21st Jan 2022, by WWF Malaysia
As a science-based organisation with decades of experience in orangutan conservation work, WWF-Malaysia believes that it is our duty to provide accurate and factual information about these primates as part of our ongoing educational efforts.
Orangutans are not hunters and do not have a 'predatory' attack mode. As such, it is very unlikely for a wild orangutan to want to climb down from a tree, just to get close to human beings and attack them.
In 1973, Borneo was home to an estimated 288,500...
