Rabies Cases In Sibu At Alarming Level, Says Assistant Minister

SIBU: The rabies situation in the city is alarming as almost half of the samples taken had tested positive for the disease.
Sarawak Assistant Local Government and Housing Minister Dr Annuar Rapaee said of the 104 random samples taken so far, 50 of them were positive for rabies.
He said the number of dog bite incidents and stray dogs being caught by the local authorities had also increased during the first 10 months of this year.

This is due to the fact that one of our core members who was doing the trapping is a Thai, he had to go back to Thailand right before MCO started and at present, our countryβs boarder is yet to be opened to Thailand.
