We plead all Sarawakians and residents not to abandon their pets even though they are experiencing hardship during this pandemic.
There had been an increase in dumping of animals, not only near our shelter, but many other places too. Many unlucky ones have become strays; roaming around the streets, scavenging for food.

Seekor Tapir mati dirempuh seorang penunggang motorsikal dalam kemalangan berdekatan Sekolah Memandu Safe Motoring Academy di Jalan Kampung Rokan - Johol, Gemenceh Negeri Sembilan malam tadi.
Penunggang motorsikal dilaporkan cedera parah manakala motor ditunggang hancur teruk.
Kemalangan tidak disengajakan ini adalah disebabkan Tapir keluar dari habitat dan menyeberang jalan raya utama.

"Queenie's kidney values is reducing, but she still vomit and the fracture bone is exposed cause her alot of pain, we put her on pain killers."

"Amputation surgery is done, she is still very weak... we need to force feed her...
Next surgery will be the removal of the necrotised kidney & repair the wound.
Since the surgery is major, we will be requiring blood from both dogs.. "
