Kisah Baby Pandan dilanggar lari oleh sebuah motorsikal diberi perhatian pada hari Jumaat lalu. Baby Pandan diselamatkan oleh seorang peniaga gerai roti canai di Desa Pandan bernama Pakcik Ishak. Ia mendapat perhatian Animal Malaysia selepas dihubungi Pakcik Ishak untuk minta bantuan bagi membiayai Baby Pandan untuk rawatan ke Vet.

We’d like to convey our since apology if we have been slow in responding to your requests on trapping since the commencement of the MCO. This is due to the fact that one of our core members who was doing the trapping is a Thai, he had to go back to Thailand right before MCO started and at present, our country’s boarder is yet to be opened to Thailand. Now the trapping is managed by just one member with occasional helps from the other members who are managing other departments.

Seekor gajah betina dianggarkan berusia 20 tahun ditemui mati disyaki diracun manakala anaknya juga anak gajah betina selamat dan berjaya dipindahkan ke Pusat Perlindungan Gajah Borneo.
Gajah betina malang ditemui di kawasan Ladang Leepang 3 di Kinabatangan dalam keadaan mulut keluar darah namun tiada kecederaan lain dibadan dilaporkan.
Pembunuhan gajah kerap berlaku di negeri Sabah semenjak kebelakangan ini. Tahun ini sahaja 3 kes pembunuhan gajah dilporkan.
