We are terribly depressed with Happy's condition. According to the vet, she is subdued and quite which is not like Happy at all. She is also not interested in what's going on around her. Her white blood count has also escalated.

ISPCA Food Bank once again raised about 300KG rice.
Part of the rice were for the shelter, and the rest was distributed to some volunteers who fed and took care of the stray animals. Thanks to the volunteers for giving the strays food and taking care of them.
We understand that some citizens have a dislike for stray animals, and sometimes even find the strays annoying, but these stray cats and dogs were mostly pets abandoned by their owners, and they don't want to stray.

#DYK that Melaka is home to the largest nesting population of critically endangered hawksbill turtles in Peninsular Malaysia? One of their biggest threats is egg poaching. Since 2014, WWF-Malaysia has worked with the Department of Fisheries to transform turtle egg poachers into Turtle Guardians, who deter poachers and collect critical nesting data. Our collective efforts have resulted in an 80% increase in hawksbill turtle eggs saved from being eaten or sold in markets!

Dear all,
We are still not able to srnd Kapi and George for physio because we do not have the money. The vet says they must have physiotherapy as soon as possible or they will lose muscle mass and not be able to walk after that.
We will be sending them to Paws Rehab (Fit Pets Grooming and Fitness Centre) for stay in physio which costs RM60 a day for each doggo totalling RM3,600 for both Kapi and George.

Little YOLO was found struggling at the roadside of Samarahan. She was brought to our shelter by a Malay lady on Sunday's evening.
Brought her for medical check-up at Animal Central Veterinary Clinic in the afternoon. The joints on her left hind leg is quite peculiar. She doesn't seem like she was ran over by a vehicle, but more of unique bone formation of her joints.
