Vaccination Aid For 2 Cats In Petaling Jaya (Leong Sek Fei’s)

We have provided an aid of RM50 for the vaccination of these 2 cats.

We are now applying for neutering and vaccination aid for the 2 youngest, Chi Ma Woo and Ling Kok.

We have provided an aid of RM120 for the neutering of these 2 cats.
Mr Leong is a new applicant. He rescues cats with his wife, Ms Yip Yin Fun. Please see write-up and photos below, of his rescued cats.
He is also applying for our vaccination aid (next post, please).
We are caring for cats in a cul-de-sac in our housing area in Petaling Jaya. There are no stray dogs wandering into this area. To date, we have rescued 11 cats but unfortunately, 2 have gone to heaven since! One succumb...

Neutering Aid For 1 Dog In Cheras (Yeap Yin May’s)

We have provided an aid of RM100 for the neutering of this dog.
Dear Dr. Chan,
Please find attached. I found this dog around an industrial area near Taman Ehsan. I have fed this dog for a while now before bringing it for neutering. After neutering, a factory near where I found her has agreed to place her there and give her daily meals in the morning while I will feed the dog at night. May I proceed with the posting? Thanks.

Ms Farah applied for two cats, but we were unable to provide our aid for the other cat (Zeus, whose first vaccination we aided in) because the booster was done 6 weeks after the first vaccination. Our policies state clearly that the interval between the two vaccinations must be not more than 30 days. STRAY FREE SELANGOR (SFS) – THE HUMANE AND COMPASSIONATE WAY has a vision of a home/habitat for every soul, focusing on Humane Education, High Volume Spay/Neuter, Government Lobbying for humane, effective and sustainable ways to curb stray populations.
In 2018 a total of 1,756 cats and dogs were neutered under this programme.
All application/registration for the neutering subsidy must be done via SPCA Selangor, and the voucher issued will be accepted at panel vets for a 50-80% discount.

Indy Is Back To 100%

I believe he is…finally!!
He’s back to asking for food every half an hour, waiting at the grille.
This is the 100% Indy – back in action!!
Whenever anyone has food in the kitchen, the 100% Indy will call from the grille because he doesn’t want to be left out.
Yes, the 100% Indy is back now!!
It’s been 11 days since his 7-teeth extraction!!
I hope he won’t do the ledge thing again tomorrow morning.

Zurik’s Hide-And-Seek Games

For two days now, Zurik has been playing hide-and-seek games with me.
This morning, for example, I looked all over for him and could not find him until I almost went into panic mode. And finally where was he?
He was just sitting quietly on top of this box.
I looked everywhere but did not think of looking here! And while I was calling for him all over the house like a mad woman, he just sat there, quietly, watching me.
