Sharks play a very important role in our oceans. Considered a top predator, they play various ecological roles in the marine environment. Sharks are known to control the population of fishes by preying on the injured or sick. Unfortunately, sharks are under serious threat, due to overfishing.
#DYK Malaysia is the second-largest importer of shark fins with an average of 2 million kg of fins per year between the period of 2000 to 2016!

"This dog hasn't been able to walk since the birth of her puppies," the Tierengel Burak rescue group in Turkey writes. "She couldn't even take care of her babies. This is how all her babies went over the rainbow bridge. She's lying on the cold floor and can't move and desperately needs help.

Seekor lagi tapir dilanggar, diseret dan akhirnya mati sengsara di Lebuhraya Kuantan-Segamat, Segamat Johor semalam.
Kematian tapir betina dewasa ini menjadikan ianya haiwan liar ke enam mati dalam tempoh tidak sampai dua bulan ini dan negara hilang khazanah alam amat berharga.
Tapir dipercayai keluar habitat untuk cari kehidupan makan dan minum memandangkan ruang rayau hutan untuknya mengecil.
