I’m so excited because we have an order of a blanket!
Ahh…brings back real sweet memories of days gone by when my sewing assistants and I would sew late into the night.
Can’t wait to get it finished!
Am thinking of starting the auctions again. Would anyone be interested?
And yes, we need the funds!!

Vincent’s Setback 12th Oct 2018, by AnimalCare
Yesterday was not exactly a good day for Vincent.
After his fidgeting subcut, he also vomited under our bed. However, I did not get to see this vomit or examine its contents because our part-time cleaner was here and she cleared it up. When she informed me, I asked her and she said it was “banyak”.
Earlier on, I already noticed that Vincent was not keen in eating the raw food with the renal kibble (dry-blended) powder sprinkled on it. But The vet had said he should eat it because the...

Bunny Stank Up The Room!! 12th Oct 2018, by AnimalCare
There was a huge Cow-Bunny screaming fight two days ago. In the photo above, Pole is checking out all the fur.
Cow is hiding at the wigwam, waiting to pounce on Bunny again.
Poor, poor Bunny. He is already 80% blind. But thankfully, he can stand his ground. And it’s actually “dangerous” to attack Bunny because he cannot see and he is known to simply flail his arms in the air. He could scratch anyone anywhere.
And Cow hasn’t learnt from his lesson last time with Indy. Co...

It’s Pawssible Neutering Campaign 11th Oct 2018, by AnimalCare
The following news is from PAWS:
It’s Pawssible Neutering Campaign
In 2013, Berjaya Youth raised funds through the “It’s Pawssible” Charity Concert. These funds were to be used for neutering animals using the Mobile Animal Clinic which was also sponsored by B.Youth and Berjaya. Unfortunately, we have not been able to get approval for the use of the Mobile Clinic since then.
However, the good news is Berjaya has now agreed to open the funds so that it can be used for the n...

The illegal wildlife trade the 4th biggest illegal trade in the world, after drugs, counterfeiting and human trafficking. Nepal is doing its bit to #EndWildlifeCrime with a series of zero poaching wins.

Fidgety Vincent 11th Oct 2018, by AnimalCare
Vincent really made today’s subcut difficult.
He normally likes it done on his left side, but we have been doing on this side for many days now, and we are supposed to alternate the sides.
So, we decided to try the right side today.
But he became fidgety until he was moving all over, almost like turning around in a circle and flipping over (imagine how hard it was to keep the needle in place!). He even attempted to scratch his ear with that right leg. Yesterday, he also scratched, and I le...

A Female Dog, Browny, Had Been Abandoned By Her Ow.. 11th Oct 2018, by SPCA Sarawak
A female dog, Browny, had been abandoned by her owner at a commercial center on Kuching. One volunteer decided to bring Browny home while scheduling her spay session later. Browny broke the cage twice, and managed to escape from the volunteer's home.
Our volunteer decided to let Browny out from cage, at she believed that Browny could have never been caged by her previous owner.
Browny would be seen walking a few kilometres with on the residential area everyday. Whenever someone called her, Br...
