The Pill-At-Home Plan In Action (for Vincent) 20th Aug 2018, by AnimalCare
The preparation.
It really is just a teeny weeny tablet. Certainly so much smaller than the dreaded Stomorgyl from last time.
The inspection (by Tabs).
So we followed the vet’s instructions to the letter, ie. Step (1) Put cat on table, to Step (2) Wipe face and head with wet cloth and then onwards to Step (3) Tilt cat’s head up.
Step (3) kind of failed. Vincent was too smart to be fooled, so we went on to (3b) Rub chin and cat should tilt head.

MAKING A DIFFERENCE, ONE ANIMAL AT A TIME
This video of Taku, a rock pigeon, is one of an entanglement rescue case. It took one compassionate individual to recognise Taku as a sentient being, and the distress that Taku was in before making a call to our wildlife rescue hotline for assistance.
It's not the big, rare, or dangerous animals whom we seek to protect, but also the often overlooked or "uncharismatic" animals too. It is up to us human beings to give them a voice, speak up on their beha...

Vincent Has The Flu (to The Vet’s Again) 20th Aug 2018, by AnimalCare
Vincent has been drooling thick and smelly saliva again. It must be the mouth ulcers again. He also sneezes occasionally and two days ago, I noticed specks of blood on the floor (which I attributed to his mouth ulcers).
Also, he has been extremely choosy over food and only wants to eat raw food. Luckily we have our supply of Cubgrub barf (for Pole and Cleo), so that’s what he has been eating.
The worrying thing is that Vincent eats a lot, and yet, he is still very thin. His weight is...

We live on a sunny island and in light of the recent heat wave, with temperatures hitting a high of 35 degrees, the last thing we want is for our pets to suffer a heatstroke. What can we do to help our pets beat the heat?
Here are some tips:
• Ensure that your pets have access to drinking water at all times. Remember to bring along a water bottle when you are walking your dog to keep it hydrated.
• Walk your dog during cooler parts of the morning, evening, or even at night...

A bit of a loner, but enjoys being on their own.
