Buddy understands English.
He really does.
Two evenings ago, he came to eat but husband was there and he said to Buddy, “Go home, Buddy, go back to your own house” without any gesture, whatsoever. It was just words. Buddy turned around and walked out of the gate, back towards the direction of his own house.
No kidding. Really.
And this morning, I said to him, “Go home, Buddy.”
Buddy turned around and went home.

If slaughterhouses had glass walls, any human with compassion would be vegetarian. Or, at the very least, practise eating less meat. But slaughterhouses do not have glass walls, they are often tucked away in some remote area so that what goes on there remains “unknown” to humans who would rather not know or think about it. They are always located “far away” so that we cannot hear the screams of terror and the cries for help. Every single day. All over the world.

STRAY FREE SELANGOR (SFS) – THE HUMANE AND COMPASSIONATE WAY has a vision of a home/habitat for every soul, focusing on Humane Education, High Volume Spay/Neuter, Government Lobbying for humane, effective and sustainable ways to curb stray populations.
In 2018 a total of 1,756 cats and dogs were neutered under this programme.
All application/registration for the neutering subsidy must be done via SPCA Selangor, and the voucher issued will be accepted at panel vets for a 50-80% discount.
