ANIVERSITY (6 DECEMBER)
Aniversity is back by popular demand, for children between the ages of seven and 12.
Participants can look forward to :
1) an educational talk on pet care and animal welfare;
2) an interaction session with our shelter animals;
3) and Painting with Pooches (PWP) activity, conducted by Loyal D.
This is a good opportunity for children to learn about animals, and their behaviour as well as express their love for animals on canvas.

A group of students from Hospitality Management and Culinary Faculty chose SSPCA as beneficiary for their MPU2112 Pengurusan Ko-Kurikulum. They are all animals lovers, especially dogs and cats.
The SEGi students baked cookies to raise funds for our shelter. They sold their delicious cookies during our off-site adoption canpaign at Green Heights Mall and our SSPCA Christmas Charity Carnival. They managed to raise RM1,815 through their efforts.

There is a neighbour reported Veterinary Ipoh (DVS) that a German shepherd was abandoned by the owner. Veterinary Ipoh and ISPCA went to the reported address to check and confirmed that there is a very thin dog. The male owner cannot be contact. Finally with the neighbors to help, the gate can finally be opened and the dog that is starved near to death had been sent to a veterinarian for health check and later on sent to our shelter.

A Final Farewell To Daffodil

It’s been more than 2 months since Daffodil passed on peacefully.
This morning, we interred her ashes next to Rosie’s, under Rosie’s favourite tree at the park.
For the past few nights, I kept remembering the image of the night before Daffodil passed away, where she sat with Ginger at the patio, enjoying the night air, keeping her son company for the last time. Ginger sat on the chair, while Daffodil sat on the floor. Together. In peaceful silence.
