Everytime When It Rains, Our Residents Are Always .. 9th Oct 2018, by SPCA Sarawak
Everytime when it rains, our residents are always wet. We are trying our best, with limited resources, to build shed for them to keep them out from the rain; sitting under the rain and in a pool of water.
We would like to create more sheds for them. If you have any unused canvas, metal bed frame and etc, rather than keeping it in your little store-room, why not bring it to us, so that we can build sheds for our animals.
Donations can be drop of at the shelter daily between 10am to 11.30am or 2...

A Man Came To Our Shelter And Wanted To Surrender .. 9th Oct 2018, by SPCA Sarawak
A man came to our shelter and wanted to surrender his dog to us. His reason of being scared of rabies, is beyond acceptable. His dog was vaccinated against rabies, and in healthy state.
We had to reject his surrender as we have too many animals in our shelter. If you happened to come accross of his dog on the street, do let us know. We would not hesitate to post his picture.
At this point of time, please take adavantage of free anti-rabies vaccination. Vaccinate your pet against rabies, and m...

Ginger’s “grass Is Greener” Whining 9th Oct 2018, by AnimalCare
Ginger was whining outside my room all morning. I’d already fed him his dim sum (kibble) twice. And he was still whining.
So I let him in.
https://myanimalcare.org/wp-content/uploads/20 18/10/WhatsApp-Video-2018-10-09-at-06.08.33.mp4
Y es, this is all he wants.
He is quiet now.
I think Ginger thinks Bunny’s Place is a paradise for cats and he wished he could join the club.
The grass is ALWAYS greener on the other side, isn’t it? Even for cats.

Good Morning! 9th Oct 2018, by AnimalCare
Our day started at 3.45am.
Vincent slept beside me on the bed all night. It’s good that he has gained back so much confidence now.
We got up at 3.45am and Vincent had a feast of Cubgrub Rabbit (he doesn’t like it much now…oh dear), C&J Turkey and Cindy’s Tuna with Bonito Flakes. It was crazy…the amount he was able to eat!
Ginger lost to him. Even Bunny lost! Yes, EVEN Bunny.
I weighed him yesterday and he was 3.7kg. Didn’t weigh him today. His pi...

Subcut in the afternoon.
https://myanimalcare.org/wp-content/upl oads/2018/10/WhatsApp-Video-2018-10-08-at-14.49.02 .mp4
He will usually fidget about for the first few minutes before he settles down as in the video above.
Vincent is gradually going back to his normal routine.
We had a CCTV-man over today, and Vincent was the perfect host, entertaining him and even rubbing himself all over the CCTV-man’s legs. Then, the door was left open, so Vincent went out and tried to go near Mr Zurik....

Missy' Was Adopted From A Rescue Shelter And She'd.. 8th Oct 2018, by Dr Rayya's Online Veterinary Journal
'Missy' was adopted from a rescue shelter and she'd had cherry eye surgery and been desexed. Her new family took her back for a check up as they were concerned and were given all clear. Thankfully they decided to get a second opinion as she could have lost her eye. The suture material had unravelled in her eye and caused a very painful deep ulcer. She's on the mend and finally embracing her new family. 👍👍👍 #maltesecross #vetcheck #caninecherryeye #cherryeyesurgery
