EASTER AND BUNNIES DON’T MIX
Easter is just round the corner and often people associate Easter with rabbits and get one because of that.
But please remember that a pet is a life time commitment, and a rabbit can live up to 10 years. They need your love and attention. On top of that, they require daily cleaning of their enclosures. No doubt that they are cute and furry, but they will take up a lot of your time, so think before you commit to getting one.

Mobile House to House (H2H) Anti Rabies Vaccination Pilot Project.
The pilot project was kicked off on 24th March 2018 and it shall cover all the areas of Batu Kawa Constituency which is situated after the Batu Kawa Bridge.
First phase was Taman Genesis with the total of 850 households. 2 days journey with 20 volunteers from Sarawak SPCA, SOS Kuching, SUPP, led and supported by the Ministry of Local Government and Housing with Sarawak Veterinary Department.

She was rescued at bandar sunway Pjs 7,
Shes a stray there who been feeding by the fellow neighbors.. Previously she given birth and there were with a fosterer till now. So this time we had a chance to catch her and sent for spaying. After she recover she wil be released in the same place and people will feed her as usual..its secured.

5 months ago, we received 4 one-day-old puppies at PAWS. Despite being advised that the shelter of over 250 dogs and 250 cats is not a suitable place for newborn puppies, the rescuer had no choice but to surrender the puppies to us. Those experienced with animals would know that because we receive dogs and puppies (a lot of which are strays) from everywhere, the chance of newborn puppies catching a disease would be very high and as a result, their chance of survival in our shelter would sadly be...

STRAY FREE SELANGOR (SFS) – THE HUMANE AND COMPASSIONATE WAY has a vision of a home/habitat for every soul, focusing on Humane Education, High Volume Spay/Neuter, Government Lobbying for humane, effective and sustainable ways to curb stray populations.
All application/registration for the neutering subsidy must be done via SPCA Selangor, and the voucher issued will be accepted at panel vets for a 50-80% discount.

Door-to-Door Vaccination
Taman Genesis, Jalan Sin San Tu, Batu Kawa, Kuching
Vaccination against rabies shall continue at this residential area of Taman Genesis today and the next few days.
The Door-To-Door Vaccination is brought to you through a joint effort of Sarawak Government together with Save Our Strays Kuching (SOS) and SSPCA.
Remember to open your gate for the officers to vaccinate your dogs at home. Leash and muzzle if needed to facilitate the officers to give vaccine.
