We have to turn away owner surrenders on many occassion as we are running full capacity. We have down 2-7 per day. Our priority is rescuing those unhealthy ones.

In the Ukraine, a very special animal shelter needs our help.
"We have no road to shelter,” FRIEND shelter's founder Marina Dilly explains. “The shelter is cut off from outside world from autumn until spring. Every day we walk 3 kilometers (1.8 miles) to bring food to the dogs and the people at our shelter. Some of the food we can store before winter, but with 500 + dogs, we can’t store a lot and also rats become a problem.”

My Ninja (formerly known as Peckles) from SPCA Penang,saved my house from fire recently!! I was upstairs in the bedroom and heard a few strange deep throated barks downstairs. I came down and saw NINJA looking at the altar area and barking. When I went to check I saw a very big TEALIGHT FIRE 🔥 almost burning the crucifix!! THANK GOD I SAW IT IN TIME!!!
