Neutering Aid For 1 Cat In Jerantut (Ngoo Nguk Poh’s)

We have sponsored RM100 for the spaying of Bai Xue.
We helped Mdm Ngoo get her 24 rescued cats neutered in 2013 and 2014 when a vet from the Klang Valley drove down to neuter her cats and took all the photographs to enable our sponsorship. Now, Mdm Ngoo managed to find a kind vet in Mentakab who is willing to help her with the neutering as well as photo-taking and texting the photo collage to us. All of Mdm Ngoo’s cats are rescued from the street.

I found this piece very profound, especially in this period where all of us are experiencing substantial change in our lives. I, too, experienced this: from being very sick in November up to January and finally, being well again now. From wanting to give up everything, struggling to maintain the minimum, to being rejuvenated and raring to go again now. Maybe, as the movie, Inside Out, teaches us, we need sadness to experience joy. This is what happiness is all about. This is reality.

1. Mustafa is an adult (and feisty) rock pigeon who somehow got stuck inside a fire exit window at the Mustafa shopping centre.
