IS THERE A MONSTER IN YOUR PET'S BOWLS?
* Please SHARE This Post Widely *
If you simply top off your pet's water dish, you could be creating a monster that will attack your pet from the inside out. Many of us are guilty of simply refilling the water bowl when it gets close to empty, but the water that sits around will form a slimy residue that hosts dangerous bacteria and fungus will begin to grow. Some pet guardians may not even notice that their pet will start shying away from a dirty water b...

Who Is Heavier, Rosie Or Heidi? 3rd Jun 2014, by AnimalCare
Another million dollar question!
Little grandmotherly Heidi…
…or Rosie?
Rosie was 4.3kg the other day when we weighed her.
So, who is heavier?
I weighed Heidi just now.
Heidi is 4.7kg!
So little pint-size Heidi is heavier than (big) Rosie!
Heidi is a tough cookie. She has muscles.
How much does Daffodil weigh?
We’ll never know!!
So amongst the girls, we have:
Tabs 4.9kg
Heidi 4.7kg
Rosie 4.3kg
Cleo 3.7kg
Pole 3.3kg
(We weighed Pole again and she is 3.3kg, not 3.1kg as previ...

"WHAT MAKES YOU THINK I KNOCKED OVER THE BOWL OF CAT FOOD?"
Well, anyone who manages a feral cat colony will tell you that the local wildlife will take part in the buffet from time to time. This gorgeous raccoon was caught in the act at a Harmony Fund feeding station for a pair of elderly feral cats.
(Naturally we don't advocate feeding wild animals. But they will occasionally find a feral cat feeding station)

Snakesss... 3rd Jun 2014, by Animal Concerns Research & Education Society (ACRES)
Over the last month, the animal care team at ACRES started to revamp our snake enclosures. These includes the construction of the snake shed which we covered a few weeks back and even plans to possibly expand Venilla(our Albino Burmese python’s ) enclosure in the future.
While the whole revamping process will take some time to complete, here are some photos of our Ball pythons in their new enclosures. These glass tanks were kindly donated to us. We then custom made the lids ourselves as we wan...
