NATIVE WILDLIFE RESCUE: SCAR HAS A SMOOTH JOURNEY HOME!
Scar is an Asiatic soft-shelled turtle who was found along Changi beach in April 2015. Asiatic soft-shelled turtles are a native freshwater species and are not known to cope well in the marine environment. We would like to thank the NParks officers at Changi beach for calling us to help the stranded turtle. Two little pups refused to come out of a drain in Sentul. The good people from the Fire & Rescue Dept utilized our equipment to get the pups out safely. We have picked up the pups and will send them to a private vet for further treatment and rehoming, thanks to the sponsorship of the person who reported this case. Many thanks to these awesome F&R officers!

'Memba this cat? We responded to a request from student Melody to have the cat neutered, and kitty has been released back to the cafe of Asia Metropolitan Uni after recovering from the op. The owner and workers at the cafe have promised to care for kitty :)

Congratulations to Homeless & Orphan Pets Exist (H.O.P.E.) 希望护生园 on the successful launch of their Coffee Table Book, which raised over RM 500,000 for constructing their new animal shelter!
