It's "Super-Bowl Sunday" for the Harmony Fund. It's our final day of the month to raise sufficient funds to fill the BOWLS of thousands of animals. If you can donate to help us buy a bowl or a bag of food, we'd be so grateful. Whether you can donate $20 or $200, your help will provide animals with the meals they eat with such delight. This is "Super-Bowl Sunday" for the Harmony Fund. It's our final day of the month to try to raise enough funds to fill the bowls of thousands of animals like these who are receiving their daily meal in Avsallar, Turkey today.

Seriously after meeting 'Kai', I grow even more fond of the canine species. Poor thing just had her nose almost chopped off by another dog and was still wagging her tail and seeking pats and treats. She required emergency cosmetic surgery to place her right nostril back into position. And voila this is her post operative picture with her brighter than ever. You wouldn't even know she has been through so much trauma. Gosh I love dogs. <3 <3

Reaching Out To The Young

Yesterday evening, I was invited to address a group of young Buddhists at the Buddhist Gem Fellowship. They were 12-17 year olds.
It was an informal gathering codenamed “Whispers of the Heart” where the participants wrote down their questions anonymously and I would answer them. [FOUND] Skitty or Skippy – Taman Sea, Petaling Jaya

This sweet, active and friendly girl may have gotten lost from the nearby neighborhoods of SS 23 or SS 24.
She was seen running around the area for the past few days, and there was previously a metal chain on her neck with a tag writing SKITTY or SKIPPY. Currently, a kind security guard is helping feed her.

Five New Individual Kennels Just Got Built

Another 5 individual kennels have been completed and ready to be used since Friday. These additional kennels were built in the hopes that the furkids will be more comfortable in them rather than in cages.

71% of Singaporeans say that nature reserves are important to them, in a survey commissioned by ACRES and conducted independently by Millward Brown early this year.

A family had adopted this dog after he had been abandoned by his previous owners who were foreigners. The family couldn't actually afford to feed and neuter the dog, but they tried the best they could to keep him safe. We are looking for donors who would like to directly donate to build him a proper shelter, and have him neutered! Please do drop us a PM if you want to contribute, and help us help the animals in need!
