Caught in action this afternoon!
Heidi coming to Daffodil’s defence and fending off the bully, Mr Zurik.
Daffodil was sitting under the dining table when Mr Zurik suddenly decided he would charge at her. Just for a kick, no other reason.
Suddenly, out of nowhere, Heidi growled and lunged straight at Mr Zurik.
That gave Daffodil the chance to escape while Heidi confronted Mr Zurik alone.

My Sewing Cats

We have an abundance of cloth lately, contributed by our readers for us to make patchwork blankets for our auctions, so for now, we really have enough. And it’s going to take me some time to mix and match and sew them into blankets.
I’ve been thinking of how best to make use of the curtain samples from the albums as there are at most only 2 pieces of the same design.
So I flip through the three albums and pick up the pieces that matches in terms of design and colour.

Heidi is becoming an alpha at the patio.
The other day we saw her defend her box from Mr Zurik and she won.
Two nights ago, she barred Mr Zurik from coming into the house.
Mr Zurik was afraid of Heidi, actually.

Here is a short clip for your weekend: A little help given to a Colugo who was stranded in a two storey car park's concrete floor near our nature reserve.
Thanks to the very helpful member of public (who called us) and the National Parks Board for their assistance, the colugo was safely returned back to the trees, where he/she will be able to climb the way back to a safe height.

APPEAL FOR WITNESSES
Yet another physically abused cat has been found, just two nights ago (Thurs, 18 Sep), in Jurong West. (We thank our informer and also Mr Benjamin Lim for alerting the Cat Welfare Society (CWS) and us to this.)
The latest feline victim, perceived to be a sweet, friendly cat, was found with several long, deliberate cuts on its body, and in an extremely weak and slightly drenched condition. Stitches were seen on the cat’s nose and many parts of its body.
