Meet Dalton, the bunny rescued from a blizzard thanks to the persistant efforts of Patricia Gordon in Calgary. Patricia had been trying to catch the abandoned rabbit since fall. Dalton (as she named him) was living on the grounds of a garden center. He was doing ok for a while, until a blizzard moved through and put the rescue mission into overdrive.

Captain Hook is the biggest pig-nosed turtle housed at the AWRC. He came to live here after members of NParks alerted us to a turtle with fishing line hanging out of his mouth in a public pond at East Coast Park.
