I had been waiting for the new tshirts to be ready…and finally, they arrived yesterday evening. The supplier had to do a stock-count so I could only collect them this morning.
But first, allow me to thank Kean-Joo for helping me source for the team of young artists, all from BrandCare. They submitted more than 20 designs and from there, we short-listed a few, and finally, I chose one of the simplest designs. I tweaked it a bit here and there, changed it a bit, and voila…here it is!

The Cat Show At Sunway Putra Mall Today!

Today was a most busy day for me. The morning started with ordering dogfood for Meiji, collecting our new tshirts (!!) and by afternoon, we were ready to make that long trek down to KL to Sunway Putra Mall for the Cat Show….
Aha…here we are!

One Dog And 2 Cats Vaccinated (Bernice Chee’s)

Bernice and Donovan will be migrating soon (*sniff*, there goes two of our trusty volunteers…). They have been feeding the stray community in their neighbourhood and now they have to make plans to rehome as many of them as they can before they leave the country.
I suggested they get the animals vaccinated first, for protection.
Today, we did two cats (already neutered) and one dog (also spayed). We’ve subsidised the cost of the vaccinations.

Cat Show (Finals) Today, At Sunway Putra Mall

We would like to thank the organisers very much for offering a booth to us at this event, but I could not find enough volunteers, so we had to pass this round. However, Avant Pet offered to do fund-raising for us at their booth!

Medical Sponsorship For Maxie Super (Maslinda’s)

Maslinda texted this morning to say Maxie had flu symptoms, so an appointment was made for the afternoon. Maslinda brought Maxie and Maxie was diagnosed with the herpes virus. Medication has been given and we have fully sponsored the treatment for RM52. Koo shared the bill with us.
Maxie is Super’s daughter, the family from the five-foot way in Shah Alam, now living with Maslinda.

Food Subsidy For Maslinda’s Cats

We have pledged to help Maslinda with food for the many cats that she fosters at her house and in her neighbourhood, and inclusive of the Super Family’s food.
Since Maslinda uses Kucinta canned food for the cats, we have sponsored RM120 worth of this food for her cats.

Scaling Mt Kinabalu For The Animals!

My friend, Kon, and his friend, Soo Kok Boon, and their children will be climbing Mt Kinabalu in December this year. The children have a wish, ie. to climb the highest peak in Malaysia for a good cause – to raise funds for AnimalCare.
We will be running the campaign for fundraising nearer to the date of the climb, but for now, allow me to thank Hillary Kon, Soo Jian Guan and Mable Soo Sheau Sze, for their very noble intentions.

Meet Vincent. Madam Ho rescued him from Bt 9 Jalan Cheras about one month ago. At that time, he smelled pretty bad and was suffering injuries to his jaw, ears, under the eye and his paws had holes as well. To make matters worse, maggots were found in his wounds.
