A Relative Of The Bombay Cat?

When I first brought Raven to the vet’s, she said Raven looked very much like a Bombay Cat. But after checking, she said Raven is not because she has a small spot of white on her chest. The Bombay cat must be completely jet-black. But Raven has the typical Bombay Cat ears, though.
Come to think of it, Vixey too was completely black except for a small spot of white on her chest.

Home-Cooked Goodness But…

Last night I decided to make another batch of home-cooked food but this time, no blending. I figured maybe, just maybe, my brood does not like the blended consistency.
Cleo smelled the food and jumped onto the kitchen sill to watch me shred the chicken meat.
Last night, Cleo had been vomiting out some food, so I thought I should give her some soup and shredded chicken instead. She ate it all up and there was no vomiting after that.

Raven Undergoes “training”

Since Raven has mange, I have been advised to cage her instead of letting her roam around the house.
Step 1: Put cat in cage without closing door, let cat explore. Allow cat the freedom of walking in and out of cage so that cat does not develop negative vibes about cage.
She sniffed around, lost interest in the boring cage and came out to explore more interesting objects. I was hoping she would scratch on this sand and do her business, but she wasn’t interested.

Fifi the stray mommy gave birth to 5 puppies recently, 2 of which have unfortunately died (1 ran over by motorcycle yesterday).
Rescuer is unable to take in any more dogs because she already has 5 strays at home, and is urgently seeking permanent homes for them. Please help if you are in Perak.

After work today, I dropped by the petstore to get catfood and some toys for Raven. She is still a kitten and kittens need to play.

Perhaps it is the manner in which Bosco passed on, the cause of death or that I went through a roller-coaster of frantically searching for ways to help him. My brave little Bosco passed away at about 6.45pm this evening. He fought the good fight and I am extremely proud of him.
I wish to thank all of you for cheering him on throughout these past few days, for standing by us and giving us all your support and kind wishes.
In all my experience thus far, I have not seen any other cat who was as strong and brave as Bosco. He has taught me so much in these past few days about acceptance, endurance, strength and serenity.
