DISCLAIMER: THERE MAY BE CERTAIN PICTURES THAT MAY MAKE YOU FEEL UNCOMFORTABLE. IF SUCH, WE WOULD ADVISE YOU NOT TO SCROLL DOWN. THANK YOU.Our mommy gave birth to 10 of us puppies at a construction site. The first thing our bodies touched when we came out to the world, was the cold soil on the ground, strewn with nails and metal scraps. Mommy chose to give birth to us deep behind some metal beams where no one would ever see or find us. Our mommy did not care for us nor give us milk – she spent...

HOW COULD YOU? - By Jim Willis, 2001 1st Nov 2009, by Noah's Ark CARES
When I was a puppy, I entertained you with my antics and made you laugh. You called me your child, and despite a number of chewed shoes and a couple of murdered throw pillows, I became your best friend. Whenever I was "bad," you'd shake your finger at me and ask "How could you?" -- but then you'd relent and roll me over for a belly rub.My housebreaking took a little longer than expected, because you were terribly busy, but we worked on that together. I remember those nights of nuzzling you in be...

My First Experience At Noah's Ark 24th Oct 2009, by Noah's Ark CARES
As I approached Noah’s Ark, I could already feel it in my bones that I was in for a special experience. Just standing outside at the gates, hearing the deafening barks of the animals inside were enough to confirm the sentiments that I felt. I’ve heard stories of Noahs Ark from people who had been there on visits, but nothing they said could prepare me for what was in stall. When the gates opened, we were immediately surrounded by dogs of all sizes. They were jumping and running up to us, ea...

BoBo, The Lucky Stray By Lee Kim Hong 11th Oct 2009, by Noah's Ark CARES
The drain canals in Lim Chu Kang Chinese cemetery smells of death. When the dogs know that their days are numbered, they will wait quietly for death to come inside the drain. BoBo was one of the unfortunate dogs. She knew exactly how tortuous the wait was. During one of my feeding rounds, we heard her "engine-liked" breathing and that led us to where she was hiding. It was deep into the drains. We were unable to reach her, a bamboo stick was used to shove her out. Out came not only BoBo but heap...
