Did you know that white cats have a higher risk of skin cancer compared to other felines? This is often caused by sun exposure, which is why they need fur coverage! Squamous Cell Carcinoma is the most common cancer in white cats; it’s painful, disfiguring, and fatal if left untreated.

ISPCA received a call from Ms Darshini regarding an American Pit Bull Terrier suspected to be abandoned at Medan Gopeng area, it was seen there for about 3 days already. Together with our volunteers, we proceeded to the location to look for it.
Fortunately, we were able to trace him down. His hindlegs are too weak to even stand up. Tears can be seen when we approached to help him. We weren't able to detect any microchips with details of owner on his body.

Kapitan Alvin Chong and his team from Ming Dynasty FB live page paid a visit to our shelter. They sent a double-door freezer and pet food they had purchased and presented SSPCA with a cheque for RM10k! All the proceeds had been raised through their FB page auctions! Thank you to Ming Dynasty for answering Andy Teo's request for help!
And thank you to our staff and volunteers that came today to help dig muck out of the drains and tidy up the surroundings!
