SOS - A lady who keeps these dogs in her apartment has received a visit and notice from council to get rid her dogs before 4th August after receiving complaint from a neighbour.
Please help to adopt/foster these dogs before council comes and move them away.

It started yesterday when April received an SMS from someone; let us call him Mr. T. He had contacted April to take over a pup he had picked up from the streets as the pup was seen running aimlessly on the streets. When April informed him that she does not have a shelter to take over the pup BUT will however try her level best to find a fosterer or better still an adopter for the pup, he threatened to dump the pup back on the streets should April not take over the pup immediately. Yesterday in Jalan Bagan Jermal Penang I saw 3 dogs chained and dragged behind a fast moving lorry.. Many motorist were sounding their horn to the lorryman to stop.. The fearful dogs have apparently jumped out of the lorry back cabin without the driver notice and were hanging with their upper body up in the air and hind legs dragged on the tar road..

Snow For Adoption

Snow is urgently in need of a home. She is a very dear and loving dog, around 4-5 years old, spayed. Her human is unable to keep her anymore as her parents want her to concentrate on her studies and she will be moving back to KL soon. Dearest ALL,
SPCA Seberang Perai has only very limited manpower. Mdm. Tan with her 2 workers are practically the only ones running the shelter with occasional volunteers. The shelter is not capable of going around the whole state picking up strays everytime you send in a request. Don't breed and buy. Spay your pets. Stop contributing to the number of strays of the street.
The shelter has been receiving increasing number of pregnant mamas lately, eventually giving birth in the shelter. Some newborns survived, some don't.
Please, if you have the heart...help to stop this. SPAY & NEUTER!

Appeal from Sakia: A week ago, I picked up an abandoned kitten, about 3-4 months old, from the Pulau Tikus market despite serious doubts about how I’d keep her as we, me and my husband, travel often and then we’re returning to Indonesia around June-July. She’s a very sweet kitten and was a breeze to litter-train her.
